Who owns the Reservation?

If you reside on Beech Street and possess deeded rights to the reservation, then you have ownership of the reservation. The Town of Hamilton has officially verified that the Beech Street Reservation belongs to the residents of Beech Street. You can confirm your ownership by examining your deed; if it contains a paragraph detailing these rights, then you indeed have deeded rights to the reservation.

Where is the Reservation? When was it established?

The reservation is located at the end of Beech Street and was initially established in the 1930s by the original residents of Beech Street. It was formerly referred to as Lake View Park. Presently, there are 14 lots with deeded access to the reservation. See below for the survey area of the reservation and the lots with deeded rights.

What does the restoration of the Reservation entail?

A bit of cooperation from our neighbors. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the reservation and there are some perks with membership. Our initial steps involve demarcating the reservation's boundaries to emphasize that this is a public space. Later we plan to install benches for sitting and an 80-foot dock so the lake can be fully enjoyed. Membership will be required for those interested in obtaining a dock slip  We aim to establish a serene public area where everyone can appreciate the neighborhood's natural splendor and strengthen community bonds.
